Beginner Guide: Plan Your First Life
Start your first demo life with a clear route through enemy checks, gathering, card choices and reincarnation, without relying on an invented best build.
FAQ
Is there one recommended best starting deck?
Is there a complete breakthrough recipe here?
What should I try to accomplish in my first life?
Aim to understand one repeatable loop: choose an available form, inspect a nearby opportunity, prepare the cards or resources it needs, then review what changed. The Demo is a randomized RPG; there is no verified universal tile-by-tile opening or single best deck for every form. This route is an editorial learning order, not a tested speedrun.
| Your immediate obstacle | First useful action | Read next |
|---|---|---|
| Unsure whether a fight is manageable | Inspect enemy number and level before committing. | Enemy preview and escape |
| A gathering card seems unsafe | Check depth, tile level and the displayed risk rather than assuming all Moderate gathering is identical. | Gathering decisions |
| Unsure what to prepare | Check the cards and known blueprint requirements you actually have. | Fusion and preparation |
| A later life lacks an old talent | Inspect manual inheritance choices rather than expecting automatic inheritance. | Reincarnation |

How do I avoid wasting my early resources?
Work backward from the next decision on screen. Before gathering, inspect the cost and risk; before a battle, inspect the opponent and your available cards; before a lasting relationship or reincarnation decision, read its conditions. Do not spend resources because an old guide claims that a previous build used them in the same way.
- Use Divine Sense and enemy inspection to separate information gathering from committing to combat.
- Learn the number-card gathering rule before repeatedly choosing a deeper attempt.
- Keep your current form’s actual card effects in view. The official introduction gives flower charm and scorpion poison as examples, not a complete ranking or a guarantee that every card is initially available.
- Before the next life, check talent inheritance and the Casket. The October 13 update ended automatic talent inheritance.
The world and events are randomized. Follow the map-name and teleportation guide to identify locations; do not assume coordinates from another player’s map will match yours.
What should I know before reaching Foundation?
The announced Demo cultivation limit is Foundation. The public Demo added in-game guidance for breakthrough requirements and material acquisition. Read those requirements on your own current character: the available official notes do not provide a verified universal breakthrough recipe, so this site does not invent one.
After reaching Foundation, resource behavior also changes. The October 31 update says Satiety, Energy or Alcohol reaching its threshold first deducts HP for the corresponding stage. Read the resource and stage-HP explanation before applying pre-Foundation assumptions. This is not a verified list of numeric thresholds for every form.
Where should I go when something stops working?
For a wheel problem, compare the current controls and extra-spin rules. For a stopped event, preserve your save and use recovery and reporting. Old symptoms may already be addressed in the dated Demo updates; a patch note is not proof that every related failure has disappeared.
For optional goals, check Vow Power and the first stronghold or relationship conditions only when those tasks become relevant. You do not need to chase every system in the first session.
