Marriage and Dual Cultivation: Check the NPC Requirement

Distinguish ordinary NPC relationship options from special characters with realm requirements, using the developer’s Demo clarification without an invented bypass.

FAQ

Were these features actually added to the Demo?
The October 13 official Demo notice adds Dual Cultivation and Marriage. A later developer reply clarifies that most ordinary NPCs permit them.
Does every NPC require Core Formation?
No. The developer says a minority of special NPCs have level requirements. A rejection from one target does not establish a universal requirement.
Where can I inspect NPC information?
The October 17 update adds viewing NPC attributes through the Relationship interface. It does not supply a complete eligibility list.
What Affinity number guarantees a successful proposal?
No universal number or success formula is verified in the retained sources. Read the specific interaction instead of using a fabricated threshold.
Can I bypass the Demo realm cap for a special NPC?
No supported bypass is established. A target requiring later progression remains different from an ordinary NPC whose interactions are available.

Does a Core Formation message disable every relationship?

No. In the complete relationship discussion, a player asks whether the Demo’s realm limit makes marriage and dual cultivation unusable. The developer answers that most ordinary NPCs can participate, while a small number of special NPCs have level requirements. The answer narrows the problem to the particular target.

Original ordinary-versus-special-NPC requirement checklist, not a relationship UI screenshot

The October 13 Demo update explicitly adds Dual Cultivation and Marriage. That proves the systems were introduced; it does not prove that every person is immediately eligible or that all relationships use the same items and conditions.

What should you inspect before changing your whole plan?

Inspect the actual NPC and the condition attached to the action. The October 17 notice adds viewing NPC attributes from the Relationship interface. That is a useful place to identify the person you are checking, rather than applying one rejected special-character interaction to the entire population.

  1. Identify the intended NPC and the action: proposal or dual cultivation.
  2. Read the specific displayed requirement and your current realm.
  3. Distinguish a special NPC’s stated level restriction from an ordinary interaction.
  4. Check other ordinary NPC interactions before concluding the whole feature is unavailable.
  5. Record the exact target and wording if behavior contradicts the dated developer clarification.

This is an eligibility diagnosis, not a complete wedding recipe. The sources do not provide an exhaustive special-character list, a universal Affinity threshold, every proposal-card ingredient or a guaranteed result. A missing item and a realm gate are different conditions, so do not substitute one explanation for the other without reading the screen.

How does the Demo progression boundary matter?

The official Demo scope reaches Foundation Establishment. That does not invalidate the ordinary-NPC options confirmed by the developer. It also does not establish a route past a special character’s later realm requirement. A feature being present and one specific target being restricted can both be true.

Do not overwrite a life to chase an invented cap bypass. For inheritance between lives, see reincarnation and talents. If a problem is a frozen scene rather than an eligibility message, switch to event recovery instead of treating it as a relationship-stat failure.

What counts as a useful unresolved report?

Include the NPC, your realm, the interaction label, its condition and the installed Demo date. If a card or item is requested, record its actual name rather than assuming that a generic “marriage” item is interchangeable. A screenshot of the message makes the distinction reproducible without claiming the visitor has met every hidden requirement.

The October 31 patch also corrects Dual Cultivation proposal statistics; a statistic fix is not a new promise of universal eligibility. Camp and Vow Power concern another progression branch. Checked November 7 against the Demo notices through November 2 and the developer’s November 1 reply; no personal relationship simulation or guaranteed outcome is claimed.
